Education
We will provide you with education on the cause of your nagging pain and how the customized plan we make for you will guide you to being pain free. Educating you on why you are having pain and giving you the knowledge with exercises to help relieve it will give you back control of your life.
Dry Needling

Dry needling is an extremely effective modality which assists in fast pain relief, improving ROM, and accelerates recovery. Inserting an acupuncture like needle into a trigger point relaxes the muscle by causing a micro-lesion within the tissue which restores normal blood flow back to the area, closes the neuromuscular junction that leads to constant tension, and stimulates your brain to release endorphins which are your body’s natural pain relievers

So, what is a trigger point?

A trigger point is a small area of tightly knotted muscle fibers. These knots develop when the muscle contracts and then doesn’t relax. In addition to creating a painful, hard, knot, the ongoing muscle contraction also pinches your nerves and blood vessels.

What causes a trigger point?
  • Poor movement patterns
  • Lifting heavy weights or objects
  • Repetitive muscle movements
  • Lack of exercise
  • Direct injury
  • Chronic stress

Soft Tissue Mobilization
  • Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation
  • Pin-and-stretch muscular release
  • Cupping Therapy
  • PNF stretching

Benefits

  • Increase Blood Flow to the Area
  • Reduce the feeling of tightness and pain
  • Enables faster rehabilitation and recovery
